A preparatory meeting for the purpose was held on behalf of the Cuttack Nrutyotsav Committee at the conference hall of the district Collectororate here today.
Nrutyotsav Committee chairman Mayour Subas Chandra Singh presided over the meeting. District Collector Chayani and ZP Chief Administration Officer Ambar Kar were present.
A detailed discussion was held to make the festival a grand success.
It was revealed that the ‘Satasahi Cuttack Nrutyotsav’ will be celebrated for the 13th time and it will be organised at the Baliyatra Ground for the first time.
The Works Department has been requested to clean the ground and pathways well before the inauguration day. While CMC will ensure water supply to the festival site, fire service personnel will be put into service to combat any possible mishap. The Commissionerate Police has been entrusted the responsibilities to maintain law and order situation and manage traffic system.
While various stalls will be put up, cultural organisations will be organised every evening.
