Bhubaneswar, April 8: The State Bank of India (SBI) Main Branch at Unit-I here in Odisha has been sealed for four more days starting from Thursday, officials said.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) sealed the ground and first floor of the SBI Branch from April 8 to 11 after more than 25 staff of the branch tested positive for COVID-19, they added.
The BMC has banned the entry of people to the bank premises to contain the possible spread of Coronavirus.
Earlier, the civic body had sealed the office building of SBI Main Branch for two days from April 4 after seven staff of the bank tested positive for Coronavirus.
The infected persons have been directed to remain in home isolation.
If any positive case needs Medical Attention, the Bank Authorities have been asked to intimate the same to BMC immediately, said a BMC official.
