Acting on a tip-off, a team of Badambadi police raided the house and rescued four women. A team the police reached the spot and carried out an operation where it was found that the flesh trade was being carried out from the place. While the cops nabbed two persons, four women, including the wife of a constable posted at the 6th battalion were also rescued.
“A case has been registered under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act in this regard. Four women have been rescued and two men, who have been detained, are being questioned,” said a senior officer.
Sources said the sex racket was running under the cover of a web channel.
