Silu Sir has never looked back. He continues his training camps for youths aspiring to join defence forces on the dry river bed of Devi River at Arkhakuda. This youth in his late 20s is an idol and selfless Guru for youngsters of his area. At his ‘Mahaguru Battallion’ youngsters receive free physical training along with classes to improve their general knowledge and quantitative aptitude. Motivation of Silu Sir is the topping of their training. The trainees are also prepared to face interviews.
Youngsters trained by Silu Sir have joined uniformed forces such as the Army, Navy, Air Force, CRPF and BSF. Two of his disciples Susil Mohanty and Devadutta Acharya, who have joined the forces, are all praises for their Guru. According to them Silu Sir brought in discipline in their lives, which enabled them to achieve their dream to join armed forces of the country.
But Silu Sir himself had sacrificed his own job to take up this selfless service for the society and youths. He had been selected for a job in Odisha Police. But he left it to dedicate his whole time to his passion to fulfil dreams of others. Now he is building up heroes for the nation. His own training in the past is helping him to train others. His students help each other. The ones good in arithmetic or general knowledge help teach others in the group. This diminishes selfishness and increases the fellow feeling among them.
Speaking to Argus News Silu Sir, said since childhood he was aspiring to do something for the society. After leaving his police job, he had started his mission to train youths for armed forces with only seven disciples. In no time his efforts drew results and more and more youngsters came down to join his ‘Mahaguru Battallion’ to fulfil their dreams to join defence forces.
