Mumbai/ Berhampur, May 17: Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who has been garnering praises from different quarters for his extraordinary philanthropic work amid the COVID-19 pandemic, has opened up about arranging a bed for a patient at Ganjam City Hospital in Berhampur, Odisha.
Taking to Twitter route, Sood on Monday said that he had arranged a bed for a needy patient at Ganjam City Hospital in Berhampur. He also shared his Whats App chat with the relative of the concerned patient in this regard.
The actor’s clarification came hours after the office of District Magistrate of Ganjam tweeted that it has received no communication either from Sonu Sood or his foundation over the actor arranging a bed for a desperate patient.
The District Magistrate's office claimed that the patient in question is in a stable condition in home isolation and no bed unavailability in this case has come to light.
