Bhubaneswar, Feb 12: The Odisha Government on Friday issued an order asking Government servants of all groups and ranks and peoples’ representatives to compulsorily submit annual property statement which would be put in the public domain for access of general public.
“The State Government is committed to ensure a transparent and a corruption-free administration. The Government has decided to make submission of annual property by Government servants of all groups and ranks of and peoples’ representatives mandatory ant to place the same in the public domain for access of everybody,” read a resolution issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department.
As per the resolution, annual property returns as on January 1 of each year will be filed by each employee by January 31 of the year. Employees will be unable to submit their PAR online in HRMS unless the property return is submitted. Besides, up-to-date filling of property return will be pre-requisite for promotions.
