Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday told the State Assembly that his Government ensured swift recovery of the economy, which had been hit due to Covid pandemic, with necessary interventions.
He claimed was replaying on the Motion of Thanks on Governor’s Address in the House. He said Odsisha Government, with great foresight and disaster preparedness, has taken several proactive steps to tackle the unprecedented COVID 19 crisis over the last year.
The Chief Minister further claimed that Odisha has emerged as a leading investment destination with over Rs 1.2 lakh crore investment attracted last year. He said his Government has undertaken programmes like heritage development and transformation of public services.
“We are firmly and determinedly on a path to a new and empowered Odisha which will satisfy the aspirations of the people and provide them opportunities to dream big and realise their potential,” contended the CM.
