Bhubaneswar: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday thanked his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik for initiating steps to supply oxygen to his State, which has remained the worst Covid-hit State in the second wave of infection.
Thackeray talked to Patnaik over phone and thanked him for Odisha’s help to the people of Maharashtra.
Earlier in the day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had thanked Patnaik for initiating process to supply oxygen to his State.
According to sources, Delhi will get 70-MT liquid medical oxygen from Odisha. While the Rourkela Steel Plant will provide 40-MT oxygen per day to Delhi, the Tata Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district will supply 30-MT to the State every day.
