The OSHRC has asked the SP to submit a reply by February 15, 2021.
The commission is believed to have registered a case on its own by taking cognizance of media reports.
According to reports, a minor boy of Timber colony was picked up by the Uditnagar police in connection with a mobile theft case on December 26.
