The deceased persons have been identified as Naresh Mohanty, his wife Nandini Mohanty and their three-year-old child. The couple’s eight-year-old girl child, who sustained critical injuries, is now undergoing treatment in a hospital.
According to information, Naresh along with his wife and children was returned home when he lost control over the vehicle and drove it into a bridge wall. Some passers-by who witnessed the mishap called police, who later rushed the accident victims to a nearby hospital. The three died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. The condition of the girl is stated to be critical.
The incident has spread shockwaves among the villagers.
