Bhadrak, Feb 12: A three-room house was gutted in fire mishap in Badabanasta village under Bhandaripokhori police limits in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Thursday night.
As per reports, a massive fire broke out at a house, owned by one Gouranga Sethi of the village, late last night.
Noticing the fire, the villagers alerted the Fire Department and tried to douse the flame. However, they couldn’t control the flame.
By the time the fire tenders from Bhandaripokhori reached the spot and doused the flame, the house was reduced to ashes.
Property worth lakhs of rupees was reportedly destroyed in the fire mishap. However, no injury or causalities were reported.
The cause of the fire was not known till the report was filed.
On being informed, Bhandaripokhori police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
