Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: The India Meteorological Department Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Saturday said that thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur over several districts in Odisha next week.
“Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Boudh, Angul, Balangir, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Keonjhar from 8.30 AM of February 17 to 8.30 AM of February 18,” said the IMD’s midday bulletin of today.
The Met Department also issued yellow weather warning over these districts during the period.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in the State in last 24 hours.
However, shallow to moderate fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj and Malkangiri, according to the latest bulletin.
