The IMD issued a yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak till 8.30 am of Sunday, said the midday bulletin of today.
The weathermen also forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Gajapati and dry weather very likely to prevailover the rest districts of the State during the period.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of 39.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Baripada while the lowest minimum temperature of 17. 5 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani in the State, said the bulletin.
