The victim duo has been identified as the driver of the vehicle J Rabi and helper Sk Khasim.
As per the report, the duo was en-route to Andhra Pradesh from Sambalpur to deliver an iron rod consignment when the driver lost control over the wheels due to some reason causing the vehicle to skid off the road and overturn.
Some locals rescued the critically injured duo and sent to Bhanjanagar Hospital for treatment from where they were shifted to MKCG Hospital in Berhampur later.
Police have seized the mangled truck.
