The detainees have been identified as residents of Saliasahi.
According to information, the action against the two youths was taken after Sports Department lodged a formal complaint with the police in this connection. The security guards deployed at the stadium witnessed the youths and later lodged a formal police complaint at Nayapalli police station.
“ A case was registered after Sports Department filed a formal complaint against the youths. They have been booked under relevant section,” said an official.
The foot over bridge was built in 2018 during the Men’s Hockey World Cup hosted.
