The deceased have been identified as Rameshwar Dihudi of Tirisinga in Ganjam district and Pramod Maharana of Badamba Narahinghpur.
As per reports, the mishap occurred at Maa Mangala Rice Mill, located along the Baghuadam road under Odagaon police station limits, this morning when the victims were checking the rice stockyard at the mill.
The labourers were rescued in a critical condition and rushed to the Community Health Centre, Odagaon where the attending doctor declared the duo “dead”.
On being informed, Odagaon Police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter.
