The officials also seized around five kg of wild boar meat and other incriminating materials from the accused poachers.
Acting on a tip off, the Forest officials nabbed the accused duo when they were returning home with their shares of the meat after hunting the wild boar from the forest.
The identity of the accused duo was not known immediately.
A case has been registered against the accused duo under various sections of IPC and Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. Further investigation is underway to find out the possible involvement of other wildlife criminals in this connection, informed Balugaon Forest Ranger Pratap Chandra Mohanty.
