Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: Smaranika Ranasingh, a nurse posted at the Capital Hospital, turned to be a “lucky” person as she administered Covid vaccine to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at a special Covid vaccination camp held at Odisha Assembly dispensary on Monday, the first day of the second phase of Covid vaccination.
“I was not informed earlier. I was told to administer vaccine to the Chief Minister a few minutes before he came for vaccination. I became very happy. I felt to be a lucky person today. I thank all my colleagues, sirs (doctors) and others for entrusting the charge to me to vaccinate our Chief Minister,” Ranasingh said while sharing her experience with the media.
She said she didn’t feel any nervous rather she did her work in a very jolly mood.
She also administered vaccines to Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayad Patro and Deputy Speaker Rajani Kant Singh.
