Villager falls from boat, goes missing in river in Angul

Angul, Feb 14: A villager reportedly went missing after he fell from a manual boat in the Tikira River under Kaniha block in Angul district early this morning. He was crossing the river through the boat from one end to the other when the mishap occurred.   

The missing person has been identified as Pabitra Pradhan of nearby Chintamanipur village.

On being informed by locals, fire personnel have rushed to the spot and started a search operation. Pradhan had not been traced even after two hours of search till filing of this story. Search was still on, according to information.
