Puri, Feb 13: Mystery shrouded the death of a woman whose body was found hanging at her home in Nilachakra Nagar under Puri Sadar Police Station last night.
The deceased has been identified as Suneeta Das, wife of Kanta Kumar Das and a mother of three children.
As per the report, Suneeta was alone at her home and her husband and children were out in some work when the incident took place. As she didn’t open the doors of her room for long some neighbours smell foul and discovered him hanging to the ceiling by breaking into the house.
Puri Sadar Police seized the body of the deceased for autopsy by reaching the spot subsequently.
While the reason behind the suicide of the woman is not known, a family feud is being seen as the most probable cause for the same.
