Berhampur, April 3: A youth sustained critical injuries after a group of miscreants attacked him with shaving blade in Gopalpur area under Ankuli area in Ganjam district on Saturday.
As per the report, the victim identified as Subaham Behera, a resident of the same area had been to take bath at a pond located near Dura Chhak on Gopalpur road in the morning when the attack took place.
A group of miscreants approached Subham while he was taking bath and attacked him with shaving blade with an intention of murder. He suffered critical injuries on the neck and hands in the attack and bled profusely.
Some friends who witnessed the incident called up Subham’s family as well as police post which he was rushed to MKCG Hospital in Berhampur for treatment.
While past rivalry is being seen as the most possible cause behind the attack police have launched an investigation in connection with the same.
