ପିଏମ୍ କିଶାନରେ ଯୋଜନାକୁ ନେଇ ଚାଷିଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା
Keonjhar, Feb 14: A youth was tied up and thrashed mercilessly by a group of residents in Kimirdapashi village under Turumunga Police Station for allegedly abducting and raping a minor girl last night.
The identity of the accused is yet to be ascertained.
As per the report, the victim was en-route to a neighbour’s house located in the village in some work last evening when the accused targeted her. After a brief follow he covered the mouth of the girl with his hand and took to a distance on the road to rape.
Worried over her missing the girl’s family discovered her in an injured state on the road and came to know about the ordeal.
The accused was then captured and tied to a club office pillar and beaten up severely in the presence of women residents.
Tension prevailed at the spot for long time as police made an inordinate delay in reaching the spot and arresting the culprit.
He has been arrested of late, says report.
