Parlakhemundi, Feb 4: At least 20 passengers were injured when a speeding private bus overturned at a ghat road in Odisha’s Gajapati district on Tuesday.

As per reports, the accident took place on Marlaba Ghat under Rayagad Police Station limits in the district this evening when the bus was heading to Paralakhemundi from Berhampur.

On being informed, local Police and Fire services personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons.

The injured people were admitted to a nearby hospital for their treatment.

Out of 20 injured, the condition of four people was reported to be critical.

Police started an investigation into the matter.
