Jagatsingpur, Feb 9: A massive fire broke out at Punjab and National Bank's (PNB) branch in Durga Bazar area here in Odisha on Sunday.

The mishap took place this morning when the bank was closed.

After getting information, Fire service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the flame.

There was no report of any injury in the fire incident. However, property inside the bank worth lakhs of rupees were gutted, sources said.

The cause of the fire will be known after the completion of investigation. It is suspected that the fire was caused by a short circuit, officials said.
