Bhubaneswar, Apr 30: Odisha CM Mohan Chanran Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, along with Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, extended their warmest greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

In their tweets, the leaders expressed hopes for a prosperous year for farmers, invoking Lord Jagannath’s blessings for a successful Akhimuthi and abundant harvest.

Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo’s tweet reads: "Wishing everyone a blessed Akshaya Tritiya and Farmers’ Day! May Lord Jagannath’s divine blessings bring prosperity to our farmers through a fruitful Akhimuthi. May this year's harvest usher in happiness and abundance for all. Praying for the well-being of our farming community and the prosperity of the state."

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted: "Heartfelt wishes to the farmers of Odisha on the agricultural festival of Akshaya Tritiya. On this auspicious day, our farmer brothers perform Akhi Muthi Anukula, marking the beginning of the sowing season. Today also marks the commencement of Ratha Katha Anukula, the sacred ritual of chariot construction. Praying for the prosperity and continuous progress of our farmers."
