Bhubaneswar, Nov 12: Bhubaneswar, Nov 12: The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas will be held in Bhubaneswar for three days from January 8 to 10. A website has been launched for the purpose.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the website at a special event organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi.

According to the information, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas will be held at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 10. It will be attended by as many as 7,000 guests. The Chief Minister said that Odisha will benefit a lot from the 18th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.

The Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for choosing Odisha as the partner state to host such a festival on the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. He said that the Government of Odisha will make all efforts to make this programme a success.

"Odisha will make all arrangements from security to protocol, cultural programs smoothly," said the Chief Minister.

The festival will showcase the rich cultural heritage of Odisha. In the cultural programme, Rajarani and Mukteshwar Nrityotsav along with a flower show will be organised.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the registration for the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations has started on the website from today. Ramayan will be screened on the occasion. The External Affairs Minister has urged everyone to come to Odisha.
