Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: Chief Ministers of various States, Union Ministers, and top national leaders, among thousands, today thronged the PMIT Campus at Talcher to pay tributes to Former Union Minister Dr. Devendra Pradhan on his 11th Day of Passing Away.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker Ram Prakash Pal, Madhya Pradesh Minister Gobind Singh Rajput, BJP national spokesperson Sayed Shahnawaz Hussain, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BJP Odisha In-Charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, and Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, among others, paid tributes to Dr Pradhan and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

Saints of the Mahima cult also attended the 'Ekadashaha' ritual and showered blessings on the family members of Dr Pradhan.

Late Dr Pradhan's sons, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Soumendra Pradhan, and all other family members and relatives were present.

On behalf of the Nagarika Mancha, Ekadashaha was observed at Guajhara in Bhubaneswar. Foods were served, and clothes were distributed to Brahmins. BJP leaders, including former State president Samir Mohanty and Jagannath Pradhan, attended the event and paid tributes.

Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarshan Pattanaik erected a sand sculpture on the sea beach at Puri to pay respect to Dr Pradhan.

People staying abroad also paid tributes to Dr Pradhan.

Dr Arun Kumar Praharaj, Founder Chairman of Baharain Odia Samaj, conducted a commemorative meeting in his residence. Pravasi Odias gathered there and paid tributes to Dr Pradhan by observing a silent prayer.
