Dhenkanal, Dec 10: In a heartrending mishap, two minor boys died after falling in a dug well at Natakata village under the Sadar police station limits in Dhenkanal district yesterday.
The deceased boys have been identified as sibling brothers, Sanjit Pradhan (5) and Ranjit Pradhan (4).
According to the information, the two boys' parents and an elder brother had gone to their paddy fields yesterday. At that time, the two boys were playing on the village road. However, they had not come to the house by the time their parents reached home in the evening. The family members searched a lot but could not find them.
This morning, some villagers marked the bodies of the two brothers floating on water in the well.
