Baripada, Jan 10: A devastating fire broke out a Kinetic Green showroom located in Daragadahi area in Baripada town in Mayurbhanj district late last night.
Following the incident, more than 32 electric vehicles were gutted in the fire.
Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and battled the flames for nearly two hours before bringing the blaze under control.
Despite the intensity of the fire, no casualties have been reported. However, property worth over Rs 60 lakh is estimated to have been lost in the incident.
Eyewitnesses said the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire showroom and reducing dozens of vehicles to ashes.
Authorities suspect that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze, though an official investigation is underway to confirm the exact cause.
