Cuttack, Dec 4: Cricket fever has gripped Cuttack as fans eagerly await the upcoming India vs South Africa clash at the iconic Barabati Stadium. The tickets for the muchanticipated match will be available to the general public from 9 AM onwards tomorrow.

 

According to reports, as many as six designated counters have been set up to facilitate ticket distribution. A separate counter has also been arranged exclusively for women spectators.

 

On the other hand, to manage the expected large crowds, police have made extensive arrangements around the stadium and ticket counters. Crowd control measures, barricades, and additional personnel deployment have been planned to ensure smooth ticket sales.

 

The upcoming match is expected to draw thousands of cricket enthusiasts from across Odisha. With Barabati Stadium’s reputation for electrifying atmospheres, fans are preparing to line up early to secure their seats for what promises to be a thrilling contest.

Notably on Wednesday, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) had opened ticket counters for its affiliated institutions, district sports associations and registered clubs.

According to the Odisha Cricket Association, affiliated bodies can purchase tickets from the OCA conference hall on December 3 and 4.

 

A total of 73 affiliated organisations, along with a few other institutions, have been included in this arrangement.

 

The Indian men’s cricket team will face South Africa in a five-match T20I series. The five 20-over matches are scheduled to take place in Cuttack, Mullanpur, Dharamsala, Lucknow and Ahmedabad on December 9, 11, 14, 17 and 19, respectively.
