The goats belonged to farmers Bilasi Das and Babuli Das, who live near the Champeswar College Square. They had a total of 20 goats in their shed, but the thieves left only 4 behind and took away the rest.
Following the incident, Bilasi Das lodged a written complaint at the Kanpur police station, and police have begun their investigation.
