Key Points

'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has crossed Rs 330 crore worldwide after grossing Rs 96.76 crore in India on Day 2, surpassing KGF 2 and Pushpa 2's Day 2 collections.
Mumbai, Mar 21: 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, opened to strong box office numbers and widespread appreciation since its preview shows on March 18 and worldwide release on March 19.

The film received positive responses from critics, actors and audiences. Several prominent names from the film industry, including SS Rajamouli, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Jr. NTR and Vijay Deverakonda, have praised the film and Singh’s performance.

Fans Question Lack of Response From Hindi Film Industry

Amid the praise, some fans on social media pointed to what they described as a lack of response from sections of the Hindi film industry.

Users highlighted that several South Indian actors publicly appreciated the film, while fewer reactions were seen from within Singh’s own industry circle.

One user wrote that support for the film appeared to be “louder from outside than within,” while expressing support for the actor.

He also reshared a social media post that criticised actors including Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and Jr. NTR for praising the film.

Strong Box Office Performance Continues

The film has recorded strong box office collections in its initial days.

After grossing over Rs 240 crore worldwide on Day 1, it earned Rs 96.76 crore at the India net box office on Day 2, according to industry trackers.

At the global level, the film’s total collections have crossed Rs 330 crore.

India Collections and Record Targets
