Bhubaneswar, Dec 13:  Lyca Productions unveiled the official title of Rajinikanth's 170th film with a teaser on the actor's 73rd birthday. Titled "Vettaiyan," the Tamil movie is set to be directed by TJ Gnanavel, known for Jai Bhim. The teaser showcased Rajinikanth's charismatic presence, wielding canes and guns. Promised as an entertaining film with a meaningful message, Vettaiyan boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan. 

Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music, with Subaskaran producing. Rajinikanth, who recently enjoyed box office success with "Jailer" in August, has other projects in the pipeline, including an untitled film with Lokesh Kanagaraj and daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's "Lal Salaam." Birthday wishes poured in from celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, who shared a heartfelt message and photo with Rajinikanth. The much-anticipated Vettaiyan is poised to be a significant addition to the superstar's illustrious filmography.
