Bhubaneswar, May 12: The severe cyclone Asani, which gradually turned into a cyclone and then to a deep depression by last evening, has further weakened into a depression, informed India Meteorological Department’s Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar this morning.
“The rest of the Cyclone Asani turned into a deep depression yesterday. Today, it has further weakened into a depression. While the depression remained a constant activity during the last six hours, it is likely to turn into a well-marked low-pressure area in the next 12 hours,” tweeted the Meteorological Centre.
