Puri, Nov 24: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with his family members arrived in Puri today. The family had Darshan Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabadra, and Devi Subhadra in the Shreemandir.
The Chief Minister was escorted to Singhadwar amid tight security. The district administration welcomed him and his family members.
Local BJP MLA Jayant Shadangi too welcome them.
Biswa Sarma was accompanied by BJP National Spokesperson Sambit Partra, Puri District President Ashrit Patnaik, and BJP workers.

✨He offered prayers to the Trinity for the welfare of the people of Assam. He also tied the sacred thread to Kalpabata.
The Government of Assam is corruption-free. Corrupt persons have no place in Assam. Recently, action has been taken against 31 officers. Two of them have been arrested. We will always strive for a clean government," said Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Stating that he came to Puri as a Chief Minister to offer prayers to Lord Jagannath, Biswa Sarma said he would soon write a letter to the Odisha government for land for a guest house in Puri.
