Chhattisgarh Polls: Dharmendra Pradhan Seeks Votes For BJP's Sampat Agrawal In Basna Constituency

Raipur, Nov 14: Ahead of the second phase of the Chhattisgarh elections, Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday sought votes for BJP candidate Sampat Agrawal in the Basna Assembly constituency.
Addressing election meetings in Basna area, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the development of Chhattisgarh will get momentum only from the double-engine government of BJP. He appealed to the voters to vote for the Lotus symbol.
Pradhan said that the Congress government under the leadership of Bhupesh Baghel cheated the people in Chhattisgarh.
"Congress offered subsidies for LPG. They promised a ban on alcohol. They made schemes in the name of women to write off their loans. However, no schemes were fulfilled," he said.

Earlier in the day, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan offered prayers at the famous temple of Goddess Raneshwar Ramachandi in Basna. He also held a road show in the town.
The first phase of polling for the Chhattisgarh Assembly concluded on November 7 and the remaining 70 seats will go for polling on November 17. The counting of votes will be done on December 3.
