The BJP leader mocked Gandhi’s leadership, calling him a ‘research centre of lies’.

Bhubaneswar, Nov 5: In a fiery post on social media platform X, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that his recent press conference was a diversionary tactic to escape accountability for the Mahagathbandhan’s anticipated defeat in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Pradhan, who is also BJP’s in-charge for Bihar polls, accused Gandhi of lacking faith in India’s democratic institutions, including the Constitution, parliamentary system, and electoral process.

The Minister claimed that Gandhi lives in a “fantasy world” where only his words are considered truth, mocking him with the phrase: "Na khata na bahi, jo Rahul Gandhi kahe wahi sahi."

The BJP leader further alleged that the Congress and its allies, including the RJD, are facing widespread rejection from the people of Bihar. He described Gandhi as a “research centre of lies and false narratives,” asserting that the public no longer takes him seriously.

Pradhan’s remarks come in the wake of Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of the Election Commission and the BJP, alleging tampering with the mandate in the Haryana Assembly elections.

Earlier in the day, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi alleged large-scale electoral fraud in last year’s Haryana Assembly elections, claiming that 25 lakh votes were stolen out of a total of 2 crore voters.

Speaking at a press event, Gandhi said, “This means one in eight voters in Haryana are fake — 12.5 per cent,” and demanded accountability from the Election Commission over what he described as a serious breach of democratic integrity.
