Argus News - Man Cross-Dressed As His Girlfriend To Write Exam On Her Behalf, Netizens Call It 'Love Goals'

Punjab, Jan 18:  In a bizarre incident, a youth from Punjab impersonated his girlfriend in an attempt to outsmart officials at an examination centre, but it ended up being a comedy spectacle.

The accused, identified as Angrez Singh of Ram Saran Colony in Fazilka district, had tried to appear in place of candidate Paramjeet, who, he later revealed, was his girlfriend.

She had allegedly failed the exam in her previous attempt following which he decided to appear in her place, he told the police.

The incident took place on January 7 at the DAV Public School on Sikhanwala Road, Kotkapura, one of the centres of the exam.

Angrez Singh decided to don the disguise of his girlfriend Paramjit Kaur and take the test on her behalf. He decked up in red bangles, lipstick, and a bindi, and put on a ladies' suit. 

However, officials quickly caught on to the act and filed a complain with the local police.

Singh's effort to impersonate his partner included using fake voter and Aadhar cards to prove he was Paramjit. It quickly fell apart when his fingerprints did not match those of the actual candidate on the biometric device. 

While legal action has been initiated against Angrez, Paramjit's application was turned by the administration.

Netizens have since been calling the news "relationship goals", hoping they too find a love like this soon.

One user wrote, "I am not settling for anything less now."

While another wrote, "Pyaar me practical file waigrah bana deta, ye to alag level par chala gaya."
