Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: In a tragic incident, one person was killed and several others injured after a Odisha-bound bus was gutted in fire on NH 16 near Kharagpur in West Bengal.

The deceased woman is said to be a resident of Kendrapara district.

Several passengers reportedly sustained burn injuries in this mishap. All the injured were admitted to Kharagpur hospital late last night.

Out of the total passengers in the bus, 16 were from Kendrapara, two were from Paradip and seven were from Jajpur in Odisha.
