Bareilly, Nov 25:  In a significant collaboration aimed at promoting health and well-being, Patanjali Yogpeeth and the Indian Army have joined hands to establish a crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU, signed at the Army Headquarters in Bareilly, Northern India, focuses on various areas such as yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, wellness, healthcare for soldiers, Ayurvedic research, and technology.

The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of key figures, including Acharya Balkrishna, the Secretary-General of Patanjali Yogpeeth, and Lieutenant General N.S. Raja Subramani, GOC-in-C of the Central Command, along with other high-ranking military officials.

Under this MoU, the collaborative efforts will extend to research in Ayurvedic medicines essential for the health protection of soldiers. The initiative also encompasses the exploration of life-saving flora and fauna in the biodiversity-rich Himalayan regions. Furthermore, the collaboration will delve into information technology and various applications of automation within the military.

Acharya Balkrishna expressed pride and a sense of responsibility, affirming that Patanjali is committed to fulfilling the task at hand and acknowledging the nation's gratitude. The collaborative effort will not only prioritize the deployment of retired soldiers in service projects by Patanjali's affiliated organizations but also explore initiatives like Vibrant Village to prevent mountain depopulation and contribute resources to defense and employment.
