Bhubaneswar, Nov 9: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Odisha on November 27. She will grace as chief guest at the 'Boita Bandana Utsav' at Paradip.  

Rasthrapati Bhawan has confirmed Murmu'ts visit to Odisha. 

The President will stay at the Boita Bandana Utsav from 10 am till 12.30 pm. 

It may be noted that the Boita Bandana Utsav, a festival that marks Sadhavs (Odia traders)' visit to foreign countries like Java, Borneo, Bali, and

Sumatra for trading centuries back, is celebrated by the Paradip Port Trust every year. 

The President has given her consent to join the grand event. 

Following the receipt of the Rastrapati Bhavan's consent, the PPT authorities and the Jagatsinghpur district administration have started preparations for Murmu's visit.
