Gandhinagar, Jan 11: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan met United Parcel Service (UPS) vice president (Corporate Affairs), Christina Struller Da Costa and discussed on key issues over skill development on Thursday on the sidelines of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

In a tweet, Pradhan said that they had good discussion on the demand for skilled professionals in the logistics and shipping sector, partnerships in skill development, workforce mobility, diversity and inclusion, among others.

The UPS is the world’s largest logistics company. In October last year, the Dubai-based logistics company had offered to extend a helping hand to Himachal Pradesh to overcome the aftermath of the disaster caused by the monsoon fury that left many areas ravaged by floods.
