Bhubaneswar, Nov 24: A day after the Election Commission issued a show cause notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his alleged derogatory remark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday slammed the Congress MP and his family and termed the remark “disheartening”.
Speaking to the media here, Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said," Rahul Gandhi and his family have only one job, which is to abuse the country's decision... PM Modi has been serving the country since 2014 due to the blessings of the people... The Congress party that has corrupt people used to believe that this country was their property. They are having pain as a person from a poor family is sitting in the position that they used to consider their family post. That is why he (Rahul Gandhi) is trying to criticise the PM by using such abusive words..."
"They (Rahul Gandhi and his family) are forgetting that those who throw stones on the Himalayas, the same stones fall on them....Those who are on bail in the National Herald case, they abuse the Prime Minister, this is a very disgusting act," he added.
