Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Union Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday attended a special program held on the occasion of the Veer Bal Diwas at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi in the gracious presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

Pradhan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that Veer Bal Diwas is a symbol of resolution to do something for the security of Bharatiya. Contributions of Veer Sahibjada to the sectors of culture, civilization and integrity are an inspiration not only for India but also for the entire world. The speech of the Prime Minister will surely inspire us all, especially the youth mass.

Thanking the Prime Minister for bringing to the fore the ability of the youth mass, Pradhan said Bharat is the country of valiant youths like Nachiketa, Abhimanyu, Ekalabya, Dhruba, Khudiram Bose, Baji Rout and Kanakalata Barua. These people had not thought about their self-interest while dedicating themselves to the cause of the nation during their childhood. The contribution of these heroes is a big inspiration for the country.

"Our Amrutpidhi (next generation) will be inspired by our youth mass and will, without spoiling time, move forward to meet Viksit Bharat goals," Pradhan said.

On this auspicious day, the Union Minister visited the gurudwara and had Darshan of Shri Bangala Sahi. He prayed for peace and prosperity in the country.

Union Woman and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani and Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur also joined the event.
