Rajasthan, Jan 6: In a shocking incident, some local residents in of Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur were seen offering alcohol to their pet dog.

The video has now gone viral on Social Media.

In the video it can be seen that a glass of alcohol has been served to a puppy who is overwhelmingly and readily consuming it.

In the background the group of men who are believed to have served alcohol to the puppy are laughing, celebrating and lauding the entire incident and the fact that the puppy is happily having alcohol.

The video has sparked outrage and concern among netizens.

In response to the video that is doing rounds on X, Savai Madhopur police have responded clarifying that the necessary action has been initiated in the matter.

While the video might have been a source of amusement for the perpetrators, it has brought to light the serious dangers of alcohol consumption in dogs. Unlike humans, dogs are more severely affected by alcohol, even in small quantities, and it can lead to a host of health issues.
