Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: The Railways authorities on Friday decided to extend the services of Visakhapatnam-Palasa- Visakhapatnam passenger special up to Brahmapur in Odisha with effect from March 3, 2024, officials said.

The decesion was taken for the convenience of the passengers and to fulfill the long cherished public aspiration of people Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, they added.

According to the official sources,  the train No. 08532 Visakhapatnam- Brahmapur Passenger Special will leave from Visakhapatnam at  17:45 hrs daily with effect from March 3, 2024 which will reach Brahmapur at 23:10hrs.

In the return direction, the train No. 08531 Brahmapur -Visakhapatnam Express will leave from Brahmapur at 03:50hrs daily with effect from March 4, 2024 which will reach Visakhapatnam at 09.20hrs on the next day.

The trains will stop at Mandasa, Sompeta, Ichhapuram between the extended portion of Brahmapur and Visakhapatnam in both the directions.
