11 Injured, 2 Critical in Two Different Accidents In Odisha

Redhakhol/Aska, July 9: As many as 13 people got injured in two different accidents in Odisha. Out of the 13, seven people suffered injuries, while two being in critical condition in an accident between a tempo and a car in Redhakhol.
The other accident took place in Bijipur Chowk near Nalabanta Village under Aska Police Station limits. Four people got injured in the accident, involving an auto rickshaw and a car.
According reports, the auto rickshaw, carrying four people including the driver, hit a heap of soil and went out of control before colliding head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction.
The auto rickshaw passengers -- Jhunu, Janaki and Runu -- were reportedly returning from Aska Police Station and returning to their village. The trio, daughters of Dinabandhu Goud, are the natives of Cheramaria village. The auto driver, Nabaghana Jena -- a native of Baragaon -- was also injured in the accident.
The auto overturned following the accident before the locals rushed to the spot and rescued the sisters and the driver.
After being informed, Aska Police arrived at the spot and took the victims in police van to the Aska Sub-District Hospital for treatment.

✨Elesewhere in Redhakhol, a tempo, carrying 10 people, collided with an Alto car at Sundhimunda Chowk near Redhakhol Railway Station. Seven out of 10 people in the tempo suffered injuries and they were taken to Redhakhol Sub-District Hospital for treatment. The Alto car driver, on the other hand, suffered grievous injuries and he was shifted to Burla Medical .
According to reports, the tempo passengers, all belong to one family, are natives of Tantagada village under Redhakhol Police station limits. They were returning from Redhakhol Rath Yatra.
Locals said that such an accident happened because some cows were sleeping in the middle of the road.
