2 Female Infants Abandoned Yet Again In Odisha 

Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: In a heart-wrenching incident, two female infants were abandoned at different locations in Odisha last night. 

One incident has been reported from Champua bus stand under Champua police station limits in Keonjhar district and the other has come to the fore near a petrol pump in Dhamra of Bhadrak district. 

The infant from Champua bus stand was found in a bag under the wheels of a bus named Dhabaleswar around 9pm last night. The helper of the bus found the infant in a plastic bag after which police rescued her and admitted her in a Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC).

Another infant was rescued by locals along the roadside from Dhamra around 11pm last night. The infant is undergoing treatment at Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
