2 Under-Trial Prisoners Escape From Titlagarh Sub-jail

Titlagarh, Mar 10: Two under-trial prisoners succeeded in evading from the Titlagarh sub-jail on Saturday night around 8:00 owing to security reasons here.
The prisoners have been identified as Sumit Bihari and Sobhaban Rana. They were undergoing trials and were kept in the sub jail, said a source.
According to the reports, the duo hatched a plan to jump over the compound wall of the sub-jail.

On being questioned whether CCTVs in the sub-jail were in working condition, the source said," The CCTVs were installed a few days ago, whether it is working or not, I am not sure. We hope to get some clue from the CCTV footage."
The security should be tightened to avoid such untoward situation in the future.
