Bhubaneswar, Apr 29: Filing of nomination for 3rd phase polls in Odisha begins today. The third phase of polls in Odisha will take place for six Lok Sabha constituencies and 42 assembly seats. 

The nomination process will start today with the notification for the third phase of the election. 
This nomination process will continue till May 6.

The nomination papers will be verified on May 7. 

May 9 is the last date for withdrawal of applications. 

The third phase of elections will be held on May 25 in Odisha. 

In the third phase, voters from 13 districts will cast their votes for 42 assembly seats.

Voters from Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, and Bhubaneswar will cast their votes for 6 Lok Sabha seats.

In the third phase, a total of 94 lakh 41 thousand 797 voters will cast their votes.

Among them, there are 48 lakh 26 thousand 375 male voters and 46 lakh 14 thousand 797 female voters. 

Among the total number of voters, the number of new voters is  2 lakh 35 thousand 764.

Among them, the number of youth voters aged between 20-30 is 18 lakhs 42 thousand 816.

While there are four phases of elections in Odisha, votes will be taken for the maximum number of seats in this phase.
